DCODE Symposium
22 June 2022 @ 09:00 - 17:00 CEST
DCODE is proud to host the DCODE Symposium “Design for Entangled Interactions” on 22 June 2022. The event will feature keynotes and workshops that revise and extend user-centered and human-centered design to account for human entanglement with systems that learn, predict, and evolve across decentralised networks.
Keynote Speakers
Christopher Frauenberger (Center for Human-Computer Interaction, University of Salzburg) and Angie Abdilla (CEO of Old Ways, New and Global Futures Council on Artificial Intelligence for Humanity, World Economic Forum).
Workshops
There will also be a series of workshops attendees can take part in:
- Plumbing the Machine Learning Pipeline
- Sensing in the Wild – A More Than Human Approach
- Care + Play – All Watched Over by Machines of Loving Grace
All of the workshops are informed by the work of the DCODE Prototeams. The DCODE Prototeams are a unique DCODE feature, in which PhD researchers from various backgrounds work together in real-world contexts to prototype future design competencies and professional practices.
Registration
Registration will open on 2 June, so stay tuned for more information!
